Edgewater owners and operators, the Bowdens, settled this coastal gem more than two centuries ago. David, Jayne, and Brody are the third and fourth generation to run the business that David’s grandmother opened in the late 1930s. Much has changed since then, but some things will always remain the same~ Sea glass hiding under water-logged driftwood, baby crabs scuttling out from underneath one rock to another, schools of young fish weaving in and out of aquatic plants, waterfowl drifting with the current, and lobstermen adding to their catch by hauling yet another trap.
